On July 3, McDonald's China Supply Chain (Hubei) Smart Industry Park (hereinafter referred to as "McDonald's Smart Industry Park") commissioning ceremony was held in Hanxiao Industrial New Town, Hubei Province, which marked that McDonald's China united Tyson, Bing Bao, Shunxinhui, Zidan four core suppliers into full operation from the previous project construction. The industrial park by McDonald's China and the four major suppliers jointly invested 1.5 billion yuan, is the first Western fast food industry chain joint investment of the cluster industrial park, is expected to annual output value of nearly 1.5 billion yuan, the entire industrial park covers an area of 300,000 square meters, the entire area of the factory roof installation of solar photovoltaic power generation system, of which 9 plants will be LEED green building silver certification.

Zhang Jiayin, CEO of McDonald's China, said the project has three features: First, the industrial park takes the form of an industrial cluster, bringing together key functions such as food production, environmentally friendly packaging production and smart logistics; The second is the intelligent supply chain of the industrial park. Through the intelligent supply chain, production, logistics and restaurants are connected, and end-to-end visibility, risk perception and flexibility can be adjusted are realized. The third is the green and low-carbon industrial park. From clean new energy, new environmentally friendly building materials, energy conservation and emission reduction to energy recovery and recycling, the industrial park reflects the protection of the environment in every detail.
